Teachers all across the West Plains School District educate and empower kids of all ages. We've asked parents, students, colleagues, and community members to tell us which teachers have made a difference in their lives or their children's lives. The district received several excellent nominations, narrowing the list to the Top 6. This morning, we congratulated each finalist with the announcement.

2022 West Plains High School Educator of the Year, Mrs. Kelly Dame.

2022 West Plains Middle School Educator of the Year, Sylvia Hershenson.

2022 West Plains Elementary Educator of the Year, Mrs. Angela Phipps.

2022 Zizzer Pride Academy Educator of the Year, Mrs. Tori Healy.

2022 South Fork Elementary Educator of the Year, Mrs. Ronna Dalton.

2022 South Central Career Center Educator of the Year, Mrs. Misty Hathcock.

Each of the building educators of the year will be formally recognized at the district awards night on May 3, 2022, and a district-level Educator of the Year will be chosen from this wonderful group.
