Special Services Department Excels in Review
The West Plains School District Special Services Department was notified of its 2019 annual determination under Section 616 of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) by the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) and has been placed in the category “Meets Requirements of Part B of the IDEA.” The Special Education Performance Report results indicated that West Plains School District was found to be 100% in compliance with all state and federal Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) regulations. It is through the continued hard work and dedication of our teachers, therapists, process coordinators, support staff, and administrators that West Plains School District continues to demonstrate Excellence in Education, Service, Life.
