West Plains Bank and Trust Company Helps Fund AEDs for School Buses

Thanks to a generous $27,909.00 donation from West Plains Bank and Trust Company and local district funds, all West Plains R-VII School District buses and student transportation vans are now equipped with Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs).

This donation was made possible through the Zizzer Debit Card Program, which has provided thousands of dollars in support to the district over the years. West Plains Bank and Trust Company is a dedicated partner, investing both time and resources to enhance student safety and well-being.

"We are incredibly grateful for their continued support," said Dr. Wesley Davis, Superintendent of Schools. "This donation could be life-saving for students, staff, and drivers in an emergency."

All bus drivers will go through CPR and AED training and once the training is complete, AEDs will be installed, adding another layer of protection for students during travel.
