• Welcome! My name is Sylvia Hershenson, and I teach Gifted Education for West Plains Elementary, South Fork Elementary, and West Plains Middle School. I attended West Plains Schools kindergarten through high school and am so proud to be a lifelong Zizzer. I earned my teaching degree in 2010 and hold certifications in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, and Gifted Education grades K-12. I also have a degree in Psychology from the University of Missouri and a Masters of Education in Administration from William Woods University.  I am married and have five children, two who attend West Plains Schools, and three adult children, all graduates of WPHS. In my free time I enjoy singing, performing in community theatre, swimming, and spending time with my family and pets.
Once a Zizzer, Always a Zizzer!
