I have been teaching at West Plains R-7 Schools since August of 2002.
I grew up in Springfield, MO from birth to 5th grade and Willow Springs, MO from 6th grade on through high school. I graduated from Willow Springs High School and went to Central Methodist University for my Bachelor of Music in Education. I finished my Master of Science in Education at Missouri State University. I have taught music in Missouri at Annapolis, Seymour, and Thayer. Eventually I came closer to home in West Plains to teach music.
In the summer of 2007, I studied the Kodaly Level One Methodology for two very intense weeks. In the summer of 2008, I continued my studies with Level Two in Warrensburg from Mrs. Ann Eisen. This was such an enriching experience for me which I can draw from to further my music teaching skills.
I am married to Harry Kelly. I have a stepdaughter, Regan. I enjoy working on my computer, hiking and camping with my husband, photography and MUSIC, of course!
