• Dear Zizzer Families,

Thank you for a great start to the 2021-22 school year. It is hard to believe we are almost at the end of the first quarter. It has been wonderful to have our students in classrooms and participate in athletic events and activities. The reason for this message is to share that the West Plains School District will once again make a change to our masking policy. Due to the small number of students and teachers that have tested positive or quarantined, high school students are no longer required to mask, and all teachers, district-wide, are no longer required to mask.

To clarify, starting today, Monday, October 11, masking is no longer required inside our facilities. However, due to a Federal order, masks are still required on school buses.  Please understand, this decision could change if our numbers begin to rise and a significant amount of students and teachers have to remain at home due to being COVID positive or quarantined.

Thank you in advance for your continued support, grace, and patience as we work hard to implement practices to best meet the needs of our students and families.

    Sincerely,

    Dr. Lori Wilson

    Superintendent of Schools
    West Plains School District
