Welcome to the website of the award-winning West Plains School District located in south central Missouri, approximately 100 miles southeast of Springfield, Missouri, with an enrollment of approximately 2,700 students attending 6 schools K-12. The district provides tremendous opportunities for students ranging from science, technology, engineering and mathematics, Career and Technical Education, music, the arts, athletics, extracurricular activities and much more.
Learning doesn't just happen in the classroom. That's why we believe that our community can play a big part in student success. The District and our community succeeds when our students succeed.
We realize that life is much more than school Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm. We are open to your suggestions on how the District can play a part in unifying the community all for the success of our students.
