knowledgeable and skills technicians.

This will require the students to be trained in the following areas:

•  Comprehensive reading, writing and math skills
•  Technical skill while using industry-standard technology
•  The skills to manage tough social issues as informed citizens
•  The skills to become a lifelong learner

Goals
When a SCCC student completes a program of study, they will

• Possess the technical and academic skills required to obtain a posistion in business or industry as a technician that pays an equitable wage.
• Be qualified for an entry-level position of employment or at a minimum begin working on an AAS degree from a Missouri community college.
• Be able to enter a Missouri community college without having to take remedial reading, writing or math courses.
• Earn a professional certificate within their Career and Technical program of study.
